Eastern Klickitat Conservation District is a community-based hub of natural resource expertise, funding, and non-regulatory assistance for local landowners and community members.
Eastern Klickitat Conservation District (EKCD) is led and staffed by community members. Our team lives where we work, giving us first-hand knowledge of the people, natural resources, and land use issues in Klickitat County.
In addition to offering our own services, we can connect you to other resources and information. For over 75 years, EKCD (est. 1946) has worked with a variety of partners, programs, and procedures related to conservation and agriculture.
We’re here to serve local landowners. Contact us with any natural resource concern or need, and we will work with you to find a solution.
To improve, conserve, and promote the wise use of natural resources by providing technical, financial, educational, and research assistance for landowners, users of natural resources, individuals, and organizations interested in natural resource issues within EKCD.
