Big Horn Fire – New Cost Recovery Funding Available for Farmers and Ranchers
The Washington State Conservation Commission has activated the Disaster Assistance Program (DAP) which is a cost reimbursement program aimed to potentially offset financial impacts to farmers and ranchers who sustained physical damage to their Klickitat County farming or ranching operation due to the Big Horn Wildfire earlier this year. The deadline to have recovery actions completed, documented and applications turned in is November 15, 2024.
